But this was not that day. He needed to eat a large bowl of the anemic stuff, and drink every drop of broth, to prevent his stomach from growling during the reaping ceremony. That at eighteen, the heir to the once-great house of Snow had nothing to live on but his wits.
His shirt for the reaping was worrying him. He had an acceptable pair of dark dress pants bought on the black market last year, but the shirt was what people looked at.
Fortunately, the Academy provided the uniforms it required for daily use. Tigris had said to trust her, and he did. Too damaged to sell in even the worst of times, and this was to be his reaping shirt?
This morning he had gone to her room at daybreak, only to find both his cousin and the shirt missing. Not a good sign. Had Tigris given up on the old thing and braved the black market in some last-ditch effort to find him proper clothing?
And what on earth would she possess worth trading for it? Only one thing—herself—and the house of Snow had not yet fallen that far. Or was it falling now as he salted the cabbage? Thanks again for choosing our app! Want to give us feedback? Send us a note at support mp3audiobookplayer. I have liked most aspects of the MP3 Audiobook Player.
It has the ability to boost the volume and speed books up well beyond the standard 2. The interface is easy to use and I like that it provides multiple ways to get audiobooks onto your device. One of my favorite features is the ability to bundle a bunch of MP3s into one book so you don't have to fiddle around with multiple files and trying to get them in the right order. My only complaint with MP3 Audiobook Player is that it starts playing paused books whenever my iPhone rings.
That bug is super annoying. If the developers could fix this issue, MP3 Audiobook Player would be nigh unto perfect. The app will lock up and demand money to finish. The so called free version of this application is not really a free version. Up front it should be noted that this is truly a crippled demo of the paid version that is ad supported.
The inability to finish books over a specific length is ridiculous, as you will watch ads the whole time. This would be equivalent to watching television with commercials then being told you have to pay to watch the last 15 minutes of the program.
State up front in the storeyou can only listen to 12 hours per book while being forced to watch ads.
It's a good app and does exactly what it says it'll do. I was glad to pay the upgrade price to unlock all features. Go to a chapter: Tap , then tap a chapter. Go to a specific time: Drag the playhead, directly below the audiobook cover. The point where you started listening is marked with a gray circle on the timeline.
